In 1983, we expanded by acquiring and remodeling the neighboring building at 214 Madison St., increasing Madison’s Cafe to 7,200 square feet. This expansion provided seating for approximately 200, lounge seating for 40, and two private dining rooms accommodating up to 120 people. To enhance your dining experience, we added a large outdoor patio in 2002 that makes spring and summer meals all the more memorable.
Throughout the years, we have continually updated the restaurant's interior and exterior aesthetic. We modernize while respecting and maintaining the buildings’ rich history and integrity, incorporating warm woods, rich colors, and various antiques. Both 214 and 216 Madison St. have a history of being different types of restaurants since the late 1800s.
In 2024, after an impressive 41 years in operation, Madison's Cafe underwent a change in ownership as Rob Agee passed the reins to Donald and Leanne Drury. Supported by Stockman Stonework’s and Canterbury Hill Winery, the new owners are enthusiastic about preserving and enhancing the exceptional legacy that Madison's Cafe has created.
